January 7th 2015 is a day that the people of the free world will never forget. My condolences go for the bravery of the 12 innocent people that were murdered on that morning. Among those victims were journalist that worked for a local press (Charlie Hebdo) and the others were two policemen that were trying to protect the innocent that lived near the area. Cherif Kouachi, Beghal Koucachi, Amedy Coulibaly and Hayat Bormeddiene are the sinful jihadist that carelessly murdered these innocent people.
It is yet another tragic story that the world has to hear, but like always, the power of freedom of speech and the unity of the world is what these terrorist most fear of. Thanks to Jordi Mir, one of the witnesses of the scene, the world can observe for themselves what these terrorist are capable of doing and the lack of empathy these terrorist have to the people that believe in freedom. Reports say that he regrets uploading this video on the Internet; however, he must realize that his action is what makes these terrorists desperate, weak and scared. The last thing these jihadist want as in result of a massacre, is the unity of the people. Millions of people walking down the streets of their own country showing these terror organizations that they won't simply throw freedom of speech in the trash, is what these jihadist most of fear of. In addition, it is what makes the civilized world stronger and it is a sign that these terrorists are weak. I am proud to acknowledge the countries that stand proud to defend their values of freedom and urge others to not be afraid of these acts of terror, but to stand strong together in unity to defeat evil.
Quote of the week -- " There is no easy walk to freedom anywhere, and many of us will have to pass through the valley of the shadow of death again and again before we reach the mountaintop of our desires. " -- Nelson Mandela
